Anyone know anything about these, other than what's on the back?

Only thing I've really found on the net is they were made 1981 - 85

Looks pretty nice.Wharfedale makes very good speakers from what I've listened to.

Yeah, I've seen the Laser series before, but never heard them. I seem to remember the verdict being positive in terms of sound-quality (They had one notorious speaker-series that gave them a bad rep for some time, but it was an economy-priced line if I remember correctly... They actually made some really-nice speakers throughout the '80's that fell under the radar for various reasons).

They seem to have a bit of that 1980's 'techno-glitz' look (and name). Had to make the name and look fit in with the release of the CD I guess.

I picked up a pair of Laser100's a few years ago for 20 bucks at an antique mall and couldnt find much on them either. HiFidatabase has a few of the lasers out there but not the 130's.
Manufactured from 79-83 and apparently their budget line... But still Wharfedales and going by mine and the way yours look, they hold up very well.
I've only used them as "B" speakers and they sound really good... not the best of my bunch but no complaints for sure.

thank you, but I am looking for 130 model
speakers sound well for money that I have paid...
