These used to be the earlier 180s but Bob essentially rebuilt them into new 305s. With the price of the new ones approaching $13k from a dealer, I`d venture to guess picking these up directly from the source for anything under $9k would probably qualify as a good deal if these were the amps you coveted. I`ve added the auction link plus a few others pertinent to info on them. Also, if anyone is in Chicago this weekend, I read the Black Beauty 305s will be on display at an audio show.
I have no affiliation to Carver, this auction, or any dealers; I`m just an admirer of what Bob has done over his career and how his current line has come full circle towards what Stu Hegeman did with HK`s Citation line 50+ years ago. :thmbsp:
