Matching an AT1010 tonearm with a Denon DL-110?

I have a chance to get a DL-110 for a great price. I really don't understand how to match a tonearm with a cartridge.

I have an AT1010 tonearm. Here are the specs:

Specifications
Effective length: 240mm

Overhang: 15mm

Mounting distance: 225mm

Effective mass: 16g

The Denon DL-110

Specifications
Generating method: moving coil

Output voltage: 1.6mV

L/R sensitivity: within 1dB

L/R separation: more than 25dB

Electrical impedance: 160 ohms

Stylus tip: 0.1 x 0.2mm special elliptical diamond

Stylus force: 1.8g (+-0.3g)

Frequency range: 20Hz to 45kHz

Weight: 4.8g

Load resistance: more than 47kOhms

What am I looking for as far as matching goes and are these two going to work together?

Thanks!

as far as I could calculate (well, VE's tools do the calculating) it's a very good theoretical match.
this is how I did it:

so now we know the resonant frequency is 9Hz. we then check this URL to see if it's a good match:

enter the eff. mass of the arm, which is 16g and you'll see that in theory it's an excellent match ;)

This will be my first MC cartridge. Since it is high output, will I use the MM or MC button on my V-LPS ii phono pre?

Where did you find the "Fastener mass" number of 1.5 and what does that mean?

Should be a fine match by all accounts. Love that arm, would love to turn one up for myself one of these days.

Having a few difficulties getting the cart on the tonearm. An expert is coming over tomorrow night to help me get it all set up. I hate waiting but I want to get this set up correctly. I'll post once we have it all set up... You guys are great! Thanks for your input

did you get the instruction manual from VE? it still is a good idea to have the expert do the initial setup, but you may be able to get going with the help of the instruction manual. good luck and I look forward to seeing the arm mounted ;)

Yes I got it, just having some difficulty getting the cart on the headshell. It's a bit different than anything I've ever used. He's also going to go over my VPI and check speed and anything else that needs tweaked...

Well we got it installed, adjusted a few things and let 'er rip. I previously had a Grado F3+ installed and it sounded good. I think this is a definite improvement. Piano, cymbals, and acoustic guitars all sound correct. Nice all around sound. I'm happy...
