my new project can i get a hand?

ok i am going to try and add some life to these cabinents they are some cheap acoustic audio mdf with a 10" slot a 4" slot and a 5x7 horn. they are 24hx15wx10d with black felt like material here are some pics of the cabs

no i kinda got suckered into these on a whim,kind of a side project to use the cabinents and woofers i had ,i just got the corssovers and tweeters

ok here are the mids these are the ones that were in the cabinet,i think they will be ok. or do you think i should get something different ,be patient i have more stuff.

they are adc 303's i think 10"

ok and the crossovers, i want to put the tweeter awray mounted on top of cabinet and maybe get a s. tweeter in a horn use the same midrange and use the adc woofer

i have some ideas ,but i think i will be better off with advice since i have no training in such matters.the majority of things i do is by blind luck and lots of research i do not do to bad though.

oh yea the cabinets are ported you can see two ports on the bottom of them,personally i like sealed speakers i have lots of dampening material too.they have a mounting port on the bottom for a tripod type stand the dj's use so i can elevate them

What are you envisioning? Strip & veneer the cabs with some nice wood? Keep black and clean up?

well i had not thought of the ascetics ,i think i will just get them sounding good for now maybe put some skins on them later.maybe a birch or a honey oak.for now though i just want to transform them from awful to sweet sounding.

shoot if i get them sounding good enough i might even get some veneer pre-cut sheets
