Hi Guys
First of all Happy new year from the old europe :yes:

I picked up this afternoon this little amp from one of my favorite brand :yes:
I would like to know if someone knows what is the procedure to adjust the 4 pots inside...this amp seems to be caps coupled isn t it?
serial number is 832090371 so from 1973! an old boy :thmbsp:

Im not sure if it's like the AU-555A or not, but if it is, it is capacitor-coupled. I wouldn't mess with adjusting the pots unless I had a service manual. I believe two of those pots are for the bias and if you turn those the wrong way, you'll have a non-working amp in no time. The other two pots may be for adjusting the clipping levels. The way I understand it, capacitor-coupled amps don't have pots for adjusting the DC offset.

The serial No indicate 1972 so it's an old boy undeed. (third digit)

Yes you re right stene it's a 34 years old amp :yes:

I m all right with you mea2112 I think 2 of the pots are for idle current and 2 for adjusting the clipping levels but how to adjust this clipping level? I ve got all the necessary to do this adjustment...
