This has turned out to be the score of the year, or maybe lifetime depending on how you look at it. A fellow AK member posted about the CL ad showing that these Model Eleven Fraziers were for sale in my area, I had to grab them. I had lost out on a chance to get a pair before that were in Tenn., so this time I didn't hesitate. They are on their way this morning thanks to my brother-in-law, he has an enclosed trailer and the proper moving equipment to load the 250LB beasts.
The reality of finding a place for them to rest has sunken in, they will displace my AR-1 surround speakers, and the JBL L-220's :sigh:. Having only heard about their quality build, and sound stage, I'm hoping that they will work well in my listening space.
Since there were so very few of these big Fraziers ever built, I plan on really documenting their design, and help the curious in understanding how they were built.
I will take pictures upon their arrival, and give my impressions after getting a good listen to them. I'd really appreciate any imput from anyone with model Eleven knowledge, or interest. :thmbsp:
