Good grief what a month...

While some people like to talk about their growing collection, my weekends have been spent working on existing/new projects.

Completed: Sony AV speakers (re-foam). Pioneer PL-530 TT (need to update an existing thread). These were for a "customer". I'll update with the model numbers of the speakers tomorrow, but they weren't very impressive. Kind of boomy, inspite of being acoustic suspension. Of course not having ANY damping material likely didn't help, nor having thin walls.

Pioneer S-710, see the following post http://www.audiokarma.org/forums/showthread.php?t=583273 will update with more tomorrow.

Optimus T-120, well sort of completed. Need a mid still, using a LX5 woofer for now. Doesn't sound as good as the original mid. Need to start a thread.

In progress: DQ-1W see http://www.audiokarma.org/forums/showthread.php?t=557242 made some great headway this weekend. Big project.

Bose 501-II see http://www.audiokarma.org/forums/showthread.php?t=613081 just need to finish the grills.

Bose 601-II need to start a separate thread. Just got some woofers, but now finding out they aren't the correct impedance.

Pioneer S-910 woofers. Possibly complete this coming weekend. Just the woofers, to be used in a DIY project using HPM drivers.

Add Pioneer SX-880...

Just dropped off a "service" item to a friend and he gave me a SX-880, but don't go banana yet. She looks like she was rolled down a flight of stairs. Really beat up. I'll examine and post images later this week. Gonna need a gang of parts, including a new bezel. Hoping no damage to the guts.

You do know that this hobby is a sickness, right? Keep at it until you puke, or run out of money, and then do some more. :thmbsp:

LOL.Yes the bug has a firm grip on me. Fortunately selling off, some stuff, helps replenish the addict fund.

I'll have to start a thread on the SX-880. Honestly looks like it was pulled from a dumpster. The guy who gave it to me was fit to be tied so I'm figuring his story that it had been dropped is likely true. Hoping I'll get some assistance from AK Pioneer guru's.
