I would've snagged them first, but I had a big of work this morning. I thought about going yesterday, too. Glad someone got them who will appreciate them more than I would've. They were going to be covered back patio speakers for me.
You could make those into very very cool main speakers. I love the styling and if you put something like the TAD 2001 compression driver in the horn you could reach up into the 20khz. Then add a good woofer like the Altec 515, they would sound really good.....not to say they don't sound good now. Then paint them with a nice red candy apple!

A flea powered SET tube amp would be perfect for these speakers! With that kind of efficiency more than a couple of watts could cause hearing damage and complaints from the neighbors a block away...(lol)
