Hey Guys and Gals, any of you snowbirds coming back from Scottsdale to the PNW? I have another AK'r willing to sell me his Sony STR V7 but he lives in Scottsdale and I am up here in Portland Or.
I would be awesome if you are coming this way in the next mo. or 2 and could help this Badger out.

I know your out there, soaking up the sun. Trying to hide 'neath that baseball cap. Dreading that long drive back to where it's cold and dark and cold....
Well shake off that haze and help out a fellow AK'r get his dream receiver. That's right, you can feel good about yourself AND help out a Badger. It's a win win all the way around.
All's you got's to do is move those digits across the keyboard and PM me sayin' you are coming home and that you have a safe, spare space in your RV.
Now how do ya feel???? Pretty good don't cha. Well you will feel even better seeing the bright eyes of this Badger well up with tears as you meet at a rest stop just outside of Portland.
You will drive away with a few bucks in your pocket and a smile on your face. And what price can you put on a smile?... Priceless.
 
So I was thinking. I have a nice place you can park your rig if you wanted to stay overnight.(electric and H2o hookup)
I would even make you a nice meal if you wanted with the beverage of your choice included.
If your driving in a car we have a nice outbuilding/in law suite you are welcome to crash in.
Just a thought.......
 
Here's your chance to respond to this thread and tell me you will be coming up this way sometime in the future. I will BBQ you a steak or fish or ???? and supply the beer or beverage of your choice. Need a place to stay overnight, well here ya go.
Please help this Badger realize his dream of owning this beautiful receiver.

Well I just got the PM sayin' that everything was working on the V7 and she is ready to go. I could go the conventional route and have it shipped but I would really rather have someone I could trust bring her up here.
If your on your way back from Scottsdale and coming anywhere near Oregun please consider this Pony Express request.

So I will try something else. Is anyone coming up from Scottsdale to Northern Calif? I could make the drive down and who knows, maybe even take or bring someone else's gear as well. I could be a Pony Express from Portland down into Calif. and then back up to the PNW if that would help out another AK brother or sister.
 
Well I couldn't get the receiver up to blhagstrom in a timely way so I decided to have her shipped.
I want to thank you Blaine for the very kind offer to bring her up to me. That was a really nice offer.
I also wanted to thank marantzfan for his offer to bring her up to meet Blaine in vegas. The timing was just a bit off to make this work but your willingness to help me out will always be appreciated.
