I would appreciate suggestions for electronics that will work well with a pair of Harbeth 30.1s. Thank you.

Didn't you already start a thread just like this in the Modern Day hifi section? You might look back on that a couple pages in and you will find it. Many good suggestions there already!

75-100wpc Luxman amp from the '70's? That would be my guess. 6ohm, 85dB, etc., so I don't imagine they're terribly-tube-friendly.

Alan Shaw has answered that question definitively on his Harbeth forum, why not take his advice? Can't imagine anyone who could provide a better answer than the speakers' designer...

There's quite a few Harbeth fans on the Naim forum. Used Naim gear is pretty consistently available. Not inexpensive but seems to hold its value well.
Love mine.

McIntosh...

I have McIntosh MA6900 with Harbeth SHL5 and Opppo 105D.....
