No I'm not buying nor selling them, just curious. I'm thinking Wharfdale. I guess they could be homemade but they look professional. What do the experts think? Thanks all! Enjoy!

I'd say those are quite a bit larger than that... Like Cornwall sized at least. If I saw that picture local to me I'd be driving right now. I'm a sucker for big speakers...

Since the ad says "giant old wood speakers" I don't think Heresy fits the bill. I only said Cornwall as it seems like those are a similar size. You know, big 15" woofer in a big box with other stuff inside, or not... Could be an off the shelf design or a DIY job or anything. Only seeing them in person would tell the whole story.

That depends entirely on the perspective of the person writing the ad.

If they're Cornwalls, they are very special as the cabinet material has to be about 1-1/4 inches thick, and the cabinet is of more volume as it's deeper going by the scale that pic. The aspect ratio is too far off. Cornwall is not that deep compared to it's width or height. Heresy is.
