I'm curious at the Sauder comparison and the assumption that Turntable Labs doesn't know about the needs of a turntable stand. It seems overly harsh, to me.
Look at the materials and the total weight, 50lbs, they designed this thing to be heavy and sturdy. Certainly the material is not the cheap particleboard used by Sauder, and, hey, Ikea which a lot of people use to set up their turntable.
I do agree it's set up for a smaller turntable, my KD-500 would be a tight fit.
I don't have a commercial interest here, just liked it, but I will admit I'm surprised by the knee-jerk negativity. Maybe TTL has a bad reputation I'm unaware of?
