sansui s 820 u tower speakers

found some s 820 u tower speakers for 120 on craigslist, advertised as the best sansui ever made.

any thoughts on this claim?

Yeah, they're not. I think thats about $100 too much.
I have had a few pairs of Sansui speakers. One like the towers in the CL ad but not towers. The pair I like the best (and the only Sansui pair I have left) are the SP-X3U's.

Probably Sansui's top speaker is the SP-11000. ??

I wonder if these are Classiques like my S-1150U's. Good rock and roll speakers and suitable for abuse, I don't care if I fry them. Definitely not worth $120, just more CL hype.
