Ran across a schematic of these guys somewhere on the net once. About 3 watts on a good day. Used plain old TO-92 transistors for outputs, with one driver stage, and one preamp stage. I looked over the circuit trying to see what they used for a RIAA EQ amp. Answer -- none. The Ceramic/Magnetic switch on the back does nothing more than change the loading impedance of the phono input. You get no EQ compensation for the magnetic cartridge. Ceramics of course have their own curve.....the higher the frequency, the lower the output, approximating the RIAA curve enough to be passable to the general public.
