Onkyo M8000 pwer amp with Onkyo p8800 preamp

Any info on these onkyo units? Both units are in excellent condition. However, the power amp has 90 watts indicated at the back.

No listing in Orion for those models. PRobably part of a "rack" system and maybe 15 wpc.

what is the reason to have big heat sink on this 50 watt amp.

Dear Ananda:
50 Wpc in Class A Amplification, when compare with today class B spec. for the sound energy level is likely to be 500 Wpc. Mark Levison ML2 (1977) is 25 wpc.-see info as:

the specs i found on the m-8000 is 100 wpc rms.
