Lamps for Luxman T-34

The very nice looking Luxman T-34 tuner i got last nite for 6 usd - with only two gangs it turned out when I took the lid off - is missing all lamps in the dial etc.

I find no indication - on the tuner or the web - of what kind of bayonet type lamps will fit and work in this beauty$. I guess I need both voltage and amp-rating.

Hello Peter,

I too recently acquired a Luaman T-110 and 1 or 4 dial lamps were burnt out, several AK's suggested that I use the Type 53 which are very common and can be acquired here in the US at Radio Shack and auto part stores.

I am not sure of your Luxman Tuner takes the same lamp.

I forgot to post the Type 53 replacement lamps worked like a champ . . .

It's better to replace all filament lamps with white LEDs in series with a 100-400 ohm resistor (depending on the voltage and brightness desired).
I was getting sick and tired of replacing the lamps on my units every 8-15 months. White LEDs last forever.
But i miss that yellow warm light of the lamp ..
