Some 3 years ago, when I first got on this site, I asked about the same thing, for my Technics SL-1300 turntable and I believe that I was told that the cart that I head was pretty good so rather than replacing the whole thing, unless I had a lot of $$ to spend (which I don't) that I'd be better...
