so there's circular grill cloth just in front of the woofer?
and what's with that mirrored smaller object, is that an adjustment knob?

Yes, the woofer is vented (?) The mirrored thing is the knob to adjust the tweeter, its not "pointed" then i turn it i hear ratlle like the good old heavy knobs in vintage amplifiers.

They sound very nice the top has pleanty of all the sounds, very clean... not noisy just clean... the lower part is strange... when i play the songs with deep base the dont respont very well, the low part is "flat" but, when i play concerts like autumn leavs, lucio della, or moricone, they sound perfect, i think that they "change" the low parts like they ware active... the selection of stero is very clear, even compared to my klh, i can easly hear there the part is played left or right, even with my eyes closed... that was very interestin expirience

btw. sorry form my english, i try typing without dictionary, english is not my native

yeah I was sure it wasn't a match for that wharfedale, but it was the closest visually that I was turning up in my search
the woofer surround on your's does look like pleated paper instead of the smooth foam rubber that I'm seeing on most wharfedales

hopefully someone else will recognize them

but it sounds like you're enjoying them?

im enjoying lots of speakers :), those are very clean, im a bass fanatic like klh but yes they gave me goosebumps when i played lucio della caruso, or vivaldi. Jamo dual klh pioneer bose loewe heco grundig i had/have many of them :) every speaker gives me some sort of emotion, just saying what im feeling.

c'mon audikarma world! anyone can help ? i dont want to crank them up!

Utah? CTS?
Not gonna be USA made drivers.

The vented dust cap has been added, i suspect it replaced an aluminum dome.

The ribbed(stepped) cone is highly characteristic of a guitar/MI speaker, the OP's comments regarding bass response seem to support this.

The cone doesn't have a seam, and it appears to possibly have a doped accordion surround, or a very finely pleated paper hinge, both unusual paired with a ribbed cone.

Finally, the 6 bolt mounting pattern is also uncommon, at least by USA standards.

Only comment i can make regarding the tweeter is that the shadows in the paint where the mounting screws were covered with filler just screams that these are one-off DIY speakers. It reminds me a LOT of Sansui T-104. Not sure what the corresponding Coral model number might be, or if there is one.

I like the a la Jack Frazier slotted port. But, i suspect that woofer is all wrong for that type of alignment.

Ok so, now the hard part, can you suggest how to open them up ? back screws+glue.... a heatgun ?

I'd avoid trying to separate glued and screwed joints.

Depending how determined i was to get in them, i'd probably cut a door in the backs, attaching cleats to the remaining back panel from the inside such that i can reattach the doors in a solid, airtight fashion. Be sure to make the door opening large enough for the woofer's ~12 inch frame to fit thru it if it ever becomes necessary to service them.
