Marantz 2252B Bias Diodes - SVT-3H Replacement Questions ???

I have several Marantz 2252b receivers. On one of them, I broke the wire lead on a SVT-3H bias diode (aka Themistor) I soldered it back together, but must have overheated it, and now it's toast. I was reading this thread

http://audiokarma.org/forums/index.php?threads/replacing-the-stv-3h-and-4h-diodes.279530/page-4

I want to use three UF1004 diodes in series and pot them in JB Weld. as mentioned in that thread link above. Problem is, Mouser is out of stock of the UF1004 diodes. The closest match I've found is RGP10 diode. it has a recovery time of 150ns, and the UF1004 is 50ns. Is this ok? Is there a better equivalent for UF1004? Thanks

You could always ask on bartertown.
You’d be surprised what some members have for spare parts.....

I wouldn't think that recovery time would be a critival/sought after parameter for a bias diode. Maybe wrong? More important would be Vf tracking at the
application current and also temperature/Vf tracking.
