This one is built right, made of MDF, not particle board and heavily reinforced inside. Walnut veneer, really adds a lot of low bass extension to my L250s. I don't think there are many of these around. It came with the original BX63a and I was very excited to install a 2245h with original cone. I do recommend any of you with aftermarket cones to get the original JBL. The bass is much tighter and accurate with a JBL cone. Thanks for checking it out! Would love to see your B460s.

Nice find! Especially being a L250 owner to go with it!

Beautiful sub. Almost looks like it should be sitting next to the JBL L300

Wow Chris, when did you find this? Obviously, I haven't been looking hard enough! Congratulations, I've been looking for one for a long time too.

Can I come over to see it? :D

Thank You! I think it's been about a month. It was part of a larger deal in which I took the B460 and a friend of mine got a bunch of Soundcraftsmen gear. I would love to have you over as soon as I get one of my spare 2245s reconed with a new JBL cone. The one I have seems to be good, but I'd rather have a fresh recone. I'm going to bridge a JBL UREI 6260 and call it a day with that and the rest of the system.

I was sitting in a movie theater watching Spiderman a few weeks ago and the bass extension wasn't even close to what I can get with that B460 and 2245. That's when I realized my system was pretty special. It's pretty amazing.

I've heard them and you're lucky to have one. The only thing better is two!

No B460 here but I do have two 2245s in my main system's 4345s :thmbsp::

Beautiful! I once had the chance to get a 4343, but never a 4345. Would love to have a pair. I do have a pair of L300s though and I was wondering where you got those wood lenses for the horn!

These came from Kenji in Japan (Kenrick Sound: www.JBL43.com) but I don't think they sell the lenses anymore. One of the guys who makes the L100 foam grilles made some that weren't quite as delicate looking but they were a great price. I'll see if I can find a link.

Style-wise, goes better with the L300 than the L250/250Ti, likely sounds better with the 250Ti though no slouch with the L300, IMHO.
