Two 80s 100 WPC Receivers. JVC R-X500 and ULTRX R 100

Looking for that NLA mosfet that fell off th bench
After collecting a few 70s silver face receivers for about 8 years, today I ended up with these two 100 WPC receivers from the 80s.

I wonder how they will stack up against each other or against my faithful Sansui 9090.

Hope to do a comparison one day.
In the mean time here are some snaps.
Lots of buttons :whip:.

I love the 80s gear. Except for the push button volume controls. JVC Super A is supposedly good. Been keeping my eye out for one myself. I hope you can compare and let us know what you think.

The keyboard in my laptop has 80 keys.
That that rx-1001v has 88! :eek2:

If there was a "stereo receiver with more buttons" competition that would probably take the cake.
