Thorens TD-147 Power Supply

I need to purchase a transformer for a Thorens TD-147.

Does anyone know of a source for an original or generic replacement.

It is 16 volts, 140 ma.

I suggest looking at wall warts, the old kind that has transformers in them. Or steal from a laptop power supply, although you only need a couple of Watts. Little transformers can be ordered from Digi-Key and Mouser and Jameco etc. Not a mechanical duplicate but you can usually figure out something.

Hi,
The best thing to do is get a Pro-ject SpeedBox II it'll give you push button speed change tighter bass.If go with the wall wart it should be 16v AC.This will work have a look:
