My KEF C30 arrived in my home

My KEF C30 arrived

Yet, one of the drivers is not working. I couldn't find any woofers specifically for C30 yet I found there are some places online that they sell woofers for KEF C40 speakers. I checked out the KEF C series leaflet and found that C30 and C40 speakers both use the same B200 drive units with the same impedence of 8ohms yet their sensitivity is slightly different, with one being 90db and the other being 91db.

Would the C40 woofer fit my C30 speakers?

If the woofer is rattling, could be bad. Might need to re-cone or replace.

I had those back in college.
 
Yes, it's strange!

I've asked a couple of companies providing reconing service and tools. They all said this kind of damage cannot be fixed and advised me to find a replacement woofer on the market.

Sad....
