I am in the market for speakers and a couple of options are currently available that have caught my attention. I'm wondering if anyone has experience/opinions about Phase Technology PC 10.5 ($575) speakers that have been refoamed and recapped. The other set currently available that might fit the bill is a pair of KEF Q5 ($400) that appear to be in excellent condition. Again, input is appreciated. I am inclined to hold off for something different, but are these contenders? Thanks.

Actually, they both look really nice. It would be a tough decision. On one hand the KEF speakers are cheaper and have great engineering behind them. On the other, the Phase Tech speakers are a little more of an unknown sound-wise, but have the potential to be VERY good. The drivers have been repaired, and the company supports its products well. I would definitely want to audition them, at very least.
 
Thanks for the replies, they will give me the impetus to check out the speakers. I am currently using a pair of Snell Bs that are big, ugly (low WAF) and sound great to my ear. Replacing them is going to be difficult, but doable. There are a couple pair of Thiels available local too. It would probably help if I had a better idea of exactly what I want.
