Standing in front of a Russian publishing house that owes me dough for an English Language instructional manual (read textbook) I wrote and they published in 2022. Cheapskates. After this photo, I went into the office and chatted with the director of the enterprise, who said "O, you're here in Russia? We can and will definitely remit payment to you."
Three weeks later: nada.
So it goes.

After church Sunday, after we had sorted out the tearing video in the Live Stream system with a new (2019) macBookPro,
Emma handed a box from Prime she wanted me to open (I had a knife handy). It was a plush top hat, flattened.
I flipped it open, slipped it on and Emma said - "Smile".
She thinks its cover worthy ... I dunno.
The hat isn't for me, its for a church sermon, christmas stories of some kind ...

Only guy I know who could write a Russian instruction manual/textbook, THEN when he doesn't get paid, literally GOES to Russia to collect.
