Hi,
I'm in the market for a new turntable and am currently between 2 options:
1) Dual CS505-2 with a Audio Technica AT155LC cartridge ($220)
belt driven, has just been serviced by a turntable technician, who added a new belt, adjusted the speed, and calibrated the tracking force. Wood finish.
or
2) Pioneer PL-400 with an Empire 2000 cartridge ($80)
Direct drive, new aftermarket diamond stylus, not sure about other services.
What do you think of either of these two? Any help is appreciated!
