To be fair, those are all power amps. The 2325 is a receiver, containing an excellent tuner, a preamp and a power amp. If someone were to buy any of those amps, they would still need to find a tuner and preamp, the total of which should be less than the OP paid for the receiver. Can't be done.

I agree. Been there, done that when I went to get a Carver Pemeire AV-705x 5 channel for surround for $500 (shipping included). I ended up hunting for and bought the controller which happens to have the rest I need. Although it is an excellent system but I still prefer using an old fashioned two channel receiver to produce music to my liking.:yes:

IMHO the Marantz 2325 is worth every penny of what you paid. Kick back and enjoy a damn fine receiver!
