No sound when speaker selection A

Hi I have a Fisher CA-880 that has a speaker selection A, B, A+B. When I select A no output but B works. When I select A+B no sound either. Could this be a bad selector? Thanks

Have you cleaned the selector with deoxit? Seems unlikely this is the issue however as your symptoms are fairly absolute. Ie; no sound at all on "A"

I have not try that. Yes no sound out of A.
