L'wood, what I have is a Sansui BDP3959, made in 11/2009. I don't have the remote yet, but the fellow who gave it to me says it's around somewhere. Lacking that, I haven't played a Blu-Ray disc, but some DVD's will auto-start, and all CD's I've tried have auto-started. CD playback data comes up on the video monitor, which is handy. Audio quality is very, very good.
