Well, after some discussion in chat. I have decided to give these a go, then maybe later try the econowave....I've already posted in the group buy thread. :thmbsp:
Just finished assembly of my Indignias.
DIY MDF cabinets w baltic birch fronts. I like the look of the quality plywood edges so I left those exposed.
First impressions, very crisp highs, well defined and an incredible low end for such a small driver. Have listened to a couple of album sides and these are gonna be some of my favorites.
A huge thanks to Zilch and the balance of those that developed this project and a special thanks to dnewman for putting together the group buy.

Nice work, George. Welcome to the "IOC" (Indignia Owners Club).
Give 'em a bit of time to break in. Very smooth highs that allow you to listen to them all day without fatigue.

Those are some fine looking Indignias, George! Are they still sounding as good a week later?
Mine are in use in my bedroom setup, and sound great. They're used for playing everything from movie sound tracks, to my digital music library, to video game sounds, to my ever expanding vinyl collection. And they sound superb for absolutely each of those. Thanks once again to the entire Indignia design team!

Thanks - I enjoyed them for a couple of days, but now they are on their way to Chicago, as a long overdue suprise gift for a friends 50th. So I'm starting on my second pair of ewaves.

Parts ordered from PE today. Had to order the aircore inductors from madisound as PE is out till mid April. :sigh:
Anyhow, total with shipping comes in at $365....so, not exactly in the Insignia budget, but from what I've heard, they should be worth every penny....

The group buy savings were substantial, apparently.
Looks like it'll be a couple of months before that'll happen again, tho....
May not happen at all, thats why I decided not to wait and just buy the parts now.

Got the air core inductors from Madisound yesterday, the remainder of the parts shipped from PE and will be here on the 25th. If I boogie, maybe I can be #25 and #26.

Notice that my pair, the original prototypes, are still on the test stand; they've become the ZilchLab default favorites.... :thmbsp:

Awesome! I had a chance to listen to S/N 01 and 02, saw Wiredbeker's in development and as a result I am patiently? waiting for a group buy. Have you detected a measurable difference in the rounded baffle flush mounted S/N 23 & 24 versus S/N 01 & 02?

I believe so, and will document that when I mount the new stock baffles on the originals, sometime in the next couple of days, most likely.... :thmbsp:
Note: We have discovered that the woofer screws at 4 and 8 o'clock should be flatheads so as not to interfere with installation of the stock grilles.

Those A60 Mini-E'Waves are exceptional. Thanks for everyone's help completing these Indignias. It was a really fun build and they're so damn smooooooth sounding.

Alright, everything is here and I'm laying things out. I saw Zilch's crossover layout and it looks pretty straight forward, except (and this is probably a stupid question) where do you get the solder terminals for the driver connections? :scratch2:
I looked on PE, radio shack, etc....Do I need them or can I improvise some normal household item?
