AK Design Collaborative - Insignia-Class Economy Speakers (a.k.a Indignia)

I had my BIL here last week. He is a longtime audiophile. He was quite impressed with the Indignias. He was stunned when I told him that they were DIY.
 
Ive got this crazy idea about an Econo-Wave Indignia (EWI). 6x6 wave guide with the little Dayton woofer. Is this doable?

Those isolation pads look cool, but a bit on the spendy side for my budget. I may have to see what I can improvise for cheap.
 
Finally got around to finishing up my home brew cabinets, and all in all, I'm pretty happy with them. Been using them as 5.1 fronts in the living room, and I gotta say they sound damn good in that role.

Here's a couple of crappy pic's. Gotta work on my photo skills.

Look good! I'll finish mine soon as the 'folks figure out what colour/type stain I'm using. After all, they're Xmas presents (still a few days before 12th night).
