Decals drying..

I finally printed the decals for the SL-1700.

They need to dry for 2 hrs after the bonding spray is applied.

Thank you, AK member boreas made them for me and I just resized them for printing. Testors Decal paper and bonding spray. all around $15 at Hobby Lobby. It's the tt in my new avatar.

Thank you, I am going to install them today. It says to place them in clear water for about and no longer than 5 seconds. then wait for the for the adhesive to soften. Sounds easy enough. Thats why I printed two up.:scratch2:

I put new felt pads on the feet.:thmbsp:

I wanted white and there does not seem to be any way to do that. I wanted gold.

I am happy with the results so far. Need to do the rest today.

Very cool, John. :thmbsp:

The now out-of-production Alps printer used heated film instead of ink jets and could print in white. The top model was able to do silver and gold, also. If you can track one down, I believe film cartridges are still available.
