You know how sometimes you add stuff that is not true at the posts! I see that all the time!
The first line of the thread he created about the thrift store find says:
"found this stuff at a thrift store, finally getting around to posting up some pics."
so the header "new tube find" may just be inaccurate. It has to be the same person/item though, since its the same pics and city and the same info as the thread.
Anyone who google searches the brand/model numbers will almost surely stumble onto the thread where he states what he paid for them

Except the CL listing doesn't give the model numbers and they aren't evident on the equipment. I actually supplied the model numbers in the other thread. But yes, sites that show those numbers are so few that if they were inserted in the CL listing it would likely quicky lead a searcher back to the other AK thread.
For what it's worth don't see any problem with the way this went down. Lots of us use whatever resources we have at hand to figure out what we have and how much it's worth. Providing help to the seller being a member her for a while is not the same hard pill to swallow as providing marketing info to a one and done poster.
