wow.. that stuff is selling for crazy money compared to their estimates.. Thanks for the link!
 
Insane... they underestimated everything by $1000 or more... way more than retail prices in my eyes... Guess it's easy for people to get caught up in an auction..
 
Work lights went for almost $3500?
WOW... they were estimated at $150.
What's so special about work lights of a musician?
If it were musical instrument, it'd make more sense... no?

Let see how much the Les Paul speakers bring.
Edit: Specially the jbl Screenarray 3632 -- they have estimated $1500 but my guess would be x10. :lurk:
...Only $1,920.... so they are not like the JBL array speakers that go for 10's of thousands...

I didn't get signed up in time to bid on the JBL 4412 monitors. I am wondering how much the shipping would have been? After buyers premium they sold for $640

There's a $65 pick up fee from the approved shipper then packing and shipping. Ouch!
 
i'd be pissed if i was in the auction room. been watching for 20 minutes and none sold to room bidders. all at the last minute, "ohhhhh...the online bidder".
 
Guys, this is THE Les Paul. He only is going to live once, and there are thousands of guitarists and sound engineers who worship his creations. He did amazing things to music and recording - to the extent that we could still be listening to skiffle bands without him. The boys at Pawn Stars knew that, and dropped 80 grand on his wife's guitar.

He may not be a legend in your mind, but he is to me, and countless others. And he was a classy legend, like Stan Musial the ballplayer. It doesn't get any bigger than that. :thmbsp::yes:
 
I bet Gibson is going to get a lot of work from people buying some of these guitars.. that Fiddle shaped bass that went for $18K needs a LOT of work for that price, but what a piece of history to own too..
