Seller says there is no markings or logo in the speakers.

An obscure or "house" brand is my wag.

They're neither Technics or Altec, and the fitment is too precise for the typical DIY
 
Gosh, that looks a whole lot like better photos of that speaker from recently that people were wondering about. I mean, I really think that's it, but now we can see the drivers. Same different grills, same taller midsection riser thing...
 
What's the marking on the middle cone/horn?

They are set up like PA speakers. Did ElectroVoice make something like this?
 
Look like a homebrew DIY using Altec Model 14 cabs. Possibly a nice one also.


I have never seen anything like that "midrange" driver before but the tweeters sure look like the spun AL. from the old Sound Dynamics line up to me.

I would buy those if they were cheap. Worst case you could EWave them if they didn't sound good as is.
 
I like those spun aluminum tweeters with phenolic diaphrams...I bet they sound nice, Interesting mid too, I cant tell if it is a dome mid or if that is a diffuser in front of a horn.:scratch2:
 
The tweeters are from early Energy speakers --how about a closeup of the top center component maybe there is a logo we can relate to--- looks home brew to me(which is not a bad thing)
 
Sound Dynamics(George Baker) was bought out by Energy -- Sound Dynamics used Heppener dorms for a very short while and then they started spinning their own bells and using the Heppner diaphragm

Audio Products International owned Mirage, Athena, Energy, and Sound Dynamics. As of six years ago the whole deal belongs to Klipsch.
