2270 Rebuild - Amp Board Transistor Question

I'm a bit confused because I didn't realize there were two different tones of engraved plates. I have this one that I am fairly confident is engraved as it feels very different when running the fingers over the lettering than my other 2270 units. The 2270 engraved plate is on the left and my 2215B (the love of my life) is on the right. Sitting on top of a pristine 2230 in original box that I just scored. I'm geeked about the 2230. But that will have to wait for the spring time. The winter is dedicated to 2270s. Poor lighting due to evening hours but it looks silver to me. Seems to have a lacquer coat on it as the texture is different than normal. Not for sale though.

The engraved models were serial # 1,000 to 5,000 only. Most had the gold tint (champagne) some had the silver. The gold was a nicer looking unit IMHO.
The engraved is easy to spot since the entire face plate is slightly engraved and the serial number range.
