Adding a fuse to KLIPSCH La Scala?

3-way

I'd like to install a simple fuse holder for a BUSS type glass fuse (AGC or similar) to my KLIPSCH La Scala's to limit power input.

Is the number of speakers connected, their method of connection, the AWG or length of speaker cable considered for the correct fuse?

Anyone know what size/type fuse is appropriate for the 100W Continuous KLIPSCH?

If the formula (A x V = W) applies,
a 250V 2A fuse would be a 500 watt fuse and a 250V 0.25V fuse would be 62.5 watts....Correct?

So where do I find a 1/2 watt fuse?

Just put a in-line fuse holder on the positive (+) side of you speaker wire and then connect to the speaker. I would start with a 2 amp fuse.

For 100 watts, I would start with maybe a 1/2watt. You want to start small and increase the rating until you just stop blowing the fuse under your normal use. Start too big, may defeat the purpose of protecting speaker.

" I would start with maybe a 1/2watt.":D

My fingers to not always type what my brain is thinking either.
