Well for starters at least, I will be using Klipsch Forte IIs. Very efficient and I've heard them on tubes before. Whooa! They sounded good then and I look forward to hearing them with one of these.

tomt, I followed your link, and pulled up the schematic for the 845 to PP 845 amp. I'm sure I looked at this before, but THIS time, the speakers spec'ed MEANT something to me! Now I *own* a pair of Altec 515E, and have them mounted in some serious cabs. I will be trying the Great Plains Audio version of Altec 288 (399) with Edgarhorns, so WOW I will have that side of the Sakuma equation with no apologies. Just wanted to share that realization that I'm getting closer to Sakuma sound. Another 10 or 20 years and maybe, just maybe...
