George Winston Passes

After a 10 year battle with cancer, he passed away on June 4.

Rest in peace, George. Thank you for the wonderful music.

Very sad news. Even as a teenager who only had ears for rock music, I had a love and appreciation for GW. What a wonderful contribution he made to music.

Oh no, very sad, very sad. I have several CD and albums of his. Seen 2 times live, absolutely the best. Man, just recently I emailed asking about touring because I wanted to take my daughter who is learning piano. I had no idea he was sick. See below:
