You're welcome. Im one of, but not the only, resident synthesizer/organ nutters here

I've got three modern analog synths. I don't play them, but play with them a bit. I may never be musical but I enjoy twiddling the knobs and making cool sounds. It's the technical aspect of oscillators, filters, envelopes, LFOs and stuff that I like to learn about. And it's a reason to get more gear, of course.

Which synths have you got? My thing is patching fat large sounds for an 80's alternate history sound.

I've got a Moog Little Phatty Stage II, a DSI Mopho Keyboard, and an Arturia Minibrute. All are analog, subtractive synths, and to me they're all very different. And each is fascinating.

Other than plugging them in and goofing off for a few minutes every month, I don't get much time to play. The last two are small enough to pack in a suitcase when I anticipate vacations with lots of downtime, so I get more play time while on the road it seems.

Those are all great synths. I have a Minibrute as well. My daily drivers are an Oberheim Matrix 6 and Korg Dw-8000.
