Music Hall 5.1 DEAL??

Hi Guys,
I have a chance to pick up a used Music Hall 5.1 with a "lightly used" Sumiko Blue Point EVO III for $825.00. Seemed fairly reasonable. But then I noticed it didn't say Music Hall mmf 5.i on the front where it should. Does this mean it's likely a factory second? It also lacks the owners manual and the original box. All audio enthusiasts I know save such things rather obsessively. What at first looked like a screaming deal is starting to give off that white van vibe.
If any of the knowledgeable brethren here would offer me their opinions on this "deal" I would be very appreciative.

Thanks
Dennis

You can always contact Music Hall and hear what Roy Hall has to say about the blank plinth.

As for the price, I think it is too high even though the cartridge is an upgrade from the Magic 3. New with the stock cart is just $50 more and you will also have a new TT with a box, manual, parts, and a warranty.
