Here are a few shots of a storm that blew through Omaha last year.

They called it, "a straight line tornado", had winds up to 115MPH and
it came and went in about twenty minutes.

Here's the small city of Jasper, marble capital of GA. The list of buildings that were built with marble that comes from this area will probably amaze you.

The Georgia Marble Company provided marble for a number of major architectural and memorial projects across the nation during the highly productive years before World War II, including the following:

The city I live in.
Cupertino Crossroads, Cali & Bros. Feed & Grain. c.1930s

Cupertino Crossroads, now Cali Mill Plaza 2007. The building in the back used to be Apple Computer's headquarters, now part of the Cupertino City Center.

Fremont Older Open Space Preserve/Silicon Valley. My backyard, is at the base of these hills and about 4 miles from the Crossroads. You can see San Jose downtown in the distance.

I work in the little yellow box in the first two pics.
The last is the skyline I see most of the time: Minneapolis Minnesota

I like this view of downtown Seattle with Mt. Ranier in the background, taken from the Queen Anne Hill neighborhood. My brother has a house on the south side of the hill with this view from his living room and upstairs/downstairs decks. Nice view, still wouldn't want to deal with accompanying city living headaches, but nice view bro!
