Sansui Belt Driven Tables...

I will ask here.. Does anyone know the models of the best Sansui Belt Driven tables? I was told they did one with a knife edge bearing, similar to the SME3009... ring any bells? My own research suggests the SR-313 OR SR-4050C...

thanks (again),
Mark

The SR-222MkII is regarded a very good belt-drive (I rotate different Sansui TT's but this one is my all-time favorite, but I don't have the TOTL DD 838/929 to compare). But no knife-edge design here (also not in the later MkIV and MkV). The SR-525 has a knive-edge design, but is a DD (I also like this TT).

To me it is clear that the "kniveless" SR-222MkII has much less "coupling" of sound from arm to base than the 'knive edged" SR-525, but this can also be blamed to the different overall design of the TT's.
