Sony PS 2350 or PS 3300 which is better?

I currently have the options to pick up the wooden version of the ps 2350 for $100 or a PS 3300 for $50. I want to pair it with my sony str 6120 receiver and the wooden look on the 2350 seems to intrigue me more than the grey 3300. Is the 3300 the better turntable?

Rumble/wow/flutter specs say the 3300 is better. 3300 is direct drive so no belt to worry about giving up like the 2350.

Would a pioneer pl 115d be better than both of these?

The 3300 is also autoreturn? I can't find the specs for these Sony TTs..

Numbers for 115d are worse than the 2350 and yes 3300 is auto return. Have you looked in Digital Docs here on AK for manuals? Tried hifiengine?

In some cases the specs aren't up front (2350) so you register free and download manuals.
3300 is a steal at that price - grab it while you work your way up the TT ladder.

I have a Sony 2350 and it is an excellent table. Very good pace and rhythm. A trouble free table with good ol 70's build quality. Belt replacement is a non issue in my opinion.
