Technics SL-Q2 Dust Cover

Hi Guys,

I was wondering if there is a chance of buying a Dust cover that fits this Turntable? I had an old Sl-200 but the problem is the tonearm. I believe it is because it needs that "dome" in the same part.

There's a seller on eBay, Turntable Depot, who makes and sells good replacements. They're very expensive though. Alternatively, you can look for a used one, also on eBay. The models which use that size and type dustcover are the SL-Q2, SL-Q3, SL-D1, SL-D2 and SL-D3. There may be others but the SL-1200 dustcover with the blister in it isn't one of them. It's too large and uses a different type hinge.

Bringing an old thread back for the dead .. I've almost finished restoring an SL1600 which I purchased as a box of bits, I've already had to use SL 1700 feet which I actually see as a worth while upgrade but am stuck for a lid.

I can get a decent SL 1500 lid at not inconsiderable cost, but what to be sure it going work once I get the hinges for it.
