Just got new tweeters for these this weekend. I think the last version of the 'Dual Hyperdome'?
3/4-inch dual hyperdome
2 x 6-1/2 inch mid-bass
30Hz to 23kHz +0/-3 dB
Usable bass response 23Hz (-10dB Anechoic chamber)
87 dB @1W/m
50 to 300 Watts RMS / channel
6-ohm nominal (4-ohm minimum)
40 x 10 x 16 inches
67-lbs each
Walnut wood veneer
Bi-amp connections.
Spikes
So far I like! I've only got 55 watts/channel driving them. I'm thinking I'll swap to the Technics SA-700 I have (100 wpc).
Very smooth. Tight bass. I've read some fairly glowing reports on these and I have to agree.
I'll probably get these tweeters serviced with new ferro-fluid. And I have one of the originals still working too.
Have to clean the cabinets up .. they have a few dings but overall pretty good. And I need to put new cloth on the grills.
Came with the user manual too.
