The .22 version is rated at 1,120 fps. The speed of sound is 1,125 fps so it almost breaks the sound barrier.

I bet it's still pretty-loud though.

You can also shoot slugs designed for high powered pellet guns for more power and accuracy.

It doesn't look like it's very powerful at 325 fps BBs (about the same as a Daisy Red Rider).

I guess it might be anough to shoot your eye out like Ralphie did.

Don't have one of those in your proximity if the cops come to your house.

Use a heavier pellet to slow it down so it doesn't go supersonic. Actual pellets don't perform accurately at supersonic speeds. It's also therefore quieter if it doesn't break the sound barrier.
