Are these thrift item of any worth?

Sherwood CDC-5030R CD player for $11.00

I also saw a few Yamaha 5 disc CD players. Are these of any worth/value?

the sherwood cd player isnt bad its worth 50 -75 bucks in good condition the superscope was made by marantz though theres not much demand for 8 tracks or cassettes any more. the rest are pretty much useless. :yes:
 
I went back to look at the Sherwood but the power outlet was smashed.... The thing you plug into a power outlet was this weird roundish shaped thing with 3 prongs spaced 2/3 of an inch apart. What is this?
 
I like the Yamaha 5 disc CD players. They sound pretty good and if they have the remote then you can use it to control the volume on your vintage stuff.

That would be a european style plug. Probably a 240 volt unit.
 
I bought one at Radio Shack Years ago, but Radio Shack has changed so much I doubt IF they still have them. Check the back of the unit to see if there is a way to change to 120 volt. It may be internal towards the back.
