You are not that far that you couldn't make it to T.H.E. Lone Star Audiofest in Round Rock in May. It's not Axpona but they'll have plenty of high end gear to check out.

It has been on my bucket list to get out of the house and hear some other things. The only speakers that I've wanted to hear in the past didn't even have an amplifier hooked up to them.

Round Rock is an easy drive, but the date will possibly interfere with visiting family. Looking forward to the reports from the people that can make it.

Maybe next year. I have to say, that Axpona was a major experience for me. It was amazing to hear legendary products. Some were more impressive than others. Some were absolutely fantastic. Even if I could never afford a lot of it, it was mind expanding to get a chance to hear some of it.
