BeoVox 2600 worth the price?

I recently came upon Bang and Olufsen BeoVox 2600 vintage 1976 speakers. They are priced at $100 for the pair and I was wondering if they are worth the price. I included the specifications and a file with pictures. This forum seemed like the best place to get good advice. Let me know what you think! Thanks

B&O speakers have a mixed reputation. They certainly look nice, and generally sound good, but often are relatively expensive relative to how good they sound. They also often have DIN connectors which are kind of a pain.
I've liked the ones I've owned, but I've never paid near 100 bucks for any of them, including significantly more ambitious models.
So while they might be worth it if you like how they sound and need a nice looking small pair of speakers, they aren't (in my mind) a steal.
 
I don't think you have to got to Europe to get the two pin DIN speaker plugs -- a lot of car audio places have them since Blaupunkts and others use them.

True but I bought mine shipped to my door for probably cheaper than I could buy them from a dealer, not to mention finding one that actually had what I was looking for. Smaller cities be damned for this kind of stuff.
 
They are the same drivers as Dynaco A25. But a smaller 8inch woofer, which is in my opinion, an advantage too lower midrange resolution, aswell as the concentric driver arrangement.

Very rare, but exellent vintage speakers.

Absolutely georgius too, even with Grills on. Beautiful Brazilian veneer. Danish speakers!! Sticky dome mid/tweet. I also believe they are Alnico. Just beautiful!

Zombie thread, but anyways, yes, the 2600 is different than most of their slim design speakers which I was into for a short period of time.
 
Zombie thread again, but there are two versions of Beovox 2600; The 2-way type 6224, and the 3-way 6237, which is the smallest 3-way (8") in the Beovox series and an excellent 4 ohm compact speaker.
You must change the capacitors in the crossover and check the cone rubber edge for damage, but this is all if there is no other damage to them. It was replaced with Beovox 3702 in 1972 which was the last small 3-way before the economy built Uniphase series.
